A Lomi Lomi massage will help you emotionally and spiritually balance and eliminate sadness, anxiety and fears. Lomi Lomi Massage is a combination of many massage styles and a heart opening spiritual journey.
Lomi Lomi also known by several other names is a full body massage done by the practitioners forearms in whole body motions ranging from deep to light strokes like waves of an ocean. Most of the massage strokes are done in figure 8 patterns causing the thinking mind to get confused and let go so that body can escape the tension the mind puts on it. In turn the person receiving the treatment has a deeper sense of emotional relief and self healing.
This treatment is a ritual and starts off with choosing an intention card. Then the client lays on the massage table in the Lomi position (flat). Client is draped so that only the private areas are covered. The practitioner (massage therapist) does a meditative dance called flying before they start the treatment. The dance will flow into the massage treatment which is done rhythmically to Hawaiian music or Tribal music (you can choose a different music if you dislike either music). It will then proceed to whole body strokes from shoulder to foot and back up again. It includes the glutes and the abdominal areas (not recommended for those with issues in those areas although they need it more than anyone else). When the whole body is complete (90+ minutes) the practitioner will slowly bring the body back to awareness (waking up) by throwing a sheet over the body and pulling it up over the head 1-3 times. This captures the spirit if it’s having an out of body experience and brings it back to the body. It also adds a light sensation to the massage that most like. Then warm wet towels are rubbed on the skin to wake the individual up from their deepened state of relaxation.

Warm stone massage is a massage done with oil and stones gliding over the muscles in a flowing manner. The depth of the pressure is from the heat of the stones not from physical pressure. Those who will love this massage are those who love a smooth warm flowing feeling. The warmth of the stones actually cools the body. Stone are known to soak up pain. This is a very relaxing massage. The stones are used on the whole body (except the head, you can request a scalp massage with your warm stone massage). Benefits stress reduction, improved circulation, and deep muscle relief.
